“Purchased this last week and so far it’s amazing! It took a little setup, but Kevin was extremely quick to respond and helped me get it figured out. Now it seamlessly works within my DaVinci projects exactly as expected.”
“I feel I have found my new secret weapon. Generating images and video within DaVinci Resolve — via the cloud or my own local GPU — is huge. I recommend this highly to anyone working regularly in Resolve. It’s worth many times what is charged.”
“I’m new to AI and learning a lot very quickly. I use DaVinci Resolve extensively — it works well on my Windows 11 machine and lets me produce mock-ups and test ideas for quick presentations. A great concept — I look forward to future enhancements.”
“AI Video Studio saves us a ton of time by bringing a huge set of AI tools right into DaVinci. Big plus: no subscription, you only pay for what you actually generate. Highly recommended.”
“Good stuff! I used it for a clip in my vlog this week. I can see myself using this more often!”
“I’ve used fal.ai for a long time — it’s one of the best image/video AI tools if you’d rather pay per generation than add another subscription. Some images cost literally cents.”
“I joined The VFX Room because the things you teach in DaVinci and how to use AI with it are awesome. I want to be able to recreate AE transitions for DaVinci Resolve and this plugin will help me get there.”

Your GPU is the render farm.
The plugin finds ComfyUI, starts it in the background and keeps it healthy — it even repairs itself after ComfyUI updates. No custom nodes, no terminal, nothing to configure.
- 100% free renders — unlimited, no credits, no cloud bill
- Private by design — footage and prompts never leave your machine
- MiniMax H3 (new), Wan 2.2, LTX, Qwen, FLUX — one-click downloads, sized to your GPU's memory
- Windows (NVIDIA) & Apple Silicon — the right build of every model, per platform
- Need more power? The same open models run on Comfy Cloud's hosted GPUs, pay-per-render

"I built this because I was tired of leaving Resolve twenty times a day just to generate what I needed. Now it’s all inside the software, and every generated clip lands directly on my timeline. It saves me time on every project, and instead of paying for expensive subscriptions or wasting unused credits, I only pay for what I actually generate. I hope it saves you as much time as it saves me."

Quick answers.
Do I need Resolve Studio?
No. Resolve Studio owners get the native plugin that runs as a panel inside Resolve. On free Resolve you use the standalone app — same features, running beside Resolve, and every result lands in your Media Pool.
What do generations cost?
You pay fal directly with your own API key — we take no cut and there’s no subscription. It’s pay-as-you-go: you top up your fal balance and each generation draws from it, so you only pay for what you actually make.
Rough ballpark (fal sets the real numbers, and they vary by model, resolution and clip length):
- Images — usually a few cents each. Lighter models like Flux run cheapest; premium ones like Nano Banana Pro cost a little more.
- Video — priced per second of output, so a short clip is typically a few tens of cents and a longer 1080p clip on a top model like Kling 3.0 or Seedance 2.0 runs higher.
Because you generate straight from your own account, you see the exact charge in your fal dashboard every time — no bundles, no credits that expire.
Comfy Cloud runs the same open models on hosted GPUs, billed in credits — no GPU needed.
Local via ComfyUI: $0. Runs on your own GPU, so there’s nothing to pay per generation at all.
Windows or Mac?
Both — installers for each, included.
How does the local ComfyUI mode work — and what are the trade-offs?
Pick This computer in Settings ▸ Engine and the plugin connects to ComfyUI itself — it finds it on any port and can even start it for you. Model downloads live in Settings ▸ Local models, one click each. You never build a node graph.
What your GPU can do:
- 8 GB VRAM — SDXL, Z-Image, Wan 2.2 5B video at 720p
- 12 GB+ — FLUX.1, LTX 2.3 at 720p
- 16 GB+ — FLUX Klein, Qwen-Image at full speed, LTX at 1080p
- 24 GB (3090/4090) — everything, incl. LTX 2.3 native 1080p with audio and Wan 14B video-to-video
System RAM matters too: 32 GB is comfortable, 64 GB for the largest models. Apple Silicon is supported — the Mac build of each model is downloaded automatically.
No big GPU? It doesn’t matter. Comfy Cloud runs the same open models on hosted hardware, billed in credits, and cloud generation via fal runs on any machine that runs Resolve. All three engines sit side by side — switch any time in Settings.
Which AI models are included?
40+ models built in. Cloud via fal: Kling v3 (Pro & 4K), Seedance 2.0 (incl. video-to-video), Veo 3.1, LTX 2.3, Nano Banana 2, GPT Image 2, Seedream 5, FLUX.2 Pro & Kontext and more. Local via ComfyUI: Wan 2.2, LTX 2.3, FLUX (incl. Klein), Qwen-Image, SDXL and Z-Image. The line-up isn’t fixed: new models are added as they release, and Lifetime buyers get every update.
How do I get it after buying?
Instantly. License key, downloads and an install video land in your email the moment payment clears.
